Applications now open for 6th Appel Institute and BMRI Summer Scholars Program

Starting in 2021, Appel Institute and Feil Family Brain and Mind Research Institute (BMRI) have supported promising students residing in the New York City area to explore neuroscience research through the Summer Scholars Program at Weill Cornell Medicine. Selected scholars are placed in a neuroscience laboratory and work closely with their mentors to develop a research idea, learn laboratory methods, and acquire data to address their scientific hypotheses. Appel Institute Celebrates Annual Thanksgiving Potluck

On November 21st at 12:00 PM, the Appel Institute held its Annual Thanksgiving Potluck, bringing together institute members for a shared lunch.

Lab members contributed a variety of home-prepared dishes, making the event an enjoyable opportunity to step away from daily work and connect with colleagues. The gathering was well attended and provided a relaxed setting to close out the week ahead of the holiday.
