As part of the Appel and BMRI Summer Diversity Scholars Program, the two scholars, Daiyan Ahmed and Elena Ajayi will present their findings during a virtual presentation on Friday, August 12th at 10:30am. Daiyan Ahmed worked with Dr. Wenjie Luo and postdoctoral associate Dr. Hao Chen on his project titled “DAP-12 regulates tau dependent neuroinflammation in Alzheimer's Disease mice with tauopathy.” Elena Ajayi was mentored by Dr. Jonathan Victor on her project titled “Is the visual system well-adapted to interpret medical images?”
